6 Step Strategy for Communicating Change to Your TEAM

  1. Gather your leaders (a.k.a. influencers: could be a positional leader could be a member of the team who has big influence with the team)
  2. Cast vision – Tell your people the direction you are taking them and why and why it will be a good thing
  3. Answer questions
  4. Guide them through issues
  5. Give them time to exert their influence with the next level of leaders (a.k.a. influencers) in the organization
  6. Make a general announcement (when the time is right) – give plenty of reassurance and encourage people to be part of a new vision.
