Thank you for your interest in applying for employment with ServiceMaster Professional Building Maintenance.  We are in the business of providing quality janitorial and carpet cleaning services to businesses and commercial buildings.  We serve customers all over Lancaster County.  So if you are also in the business of providing quality work we are interested in you (as long as you are over 16)!

The typical duties for housekeepers are:

• Emptying wastebaskets
• Dusting desks, chairs, filing cabinets
• Washroom sanitation
• Vacuuming, dust mopping, and wet mopping floors.

Other positions in our company are:

• Floor crew - buffing, stripping, refinishing floors and carpet extraction.
• Building Supervisor - supervising housekeepers in a particular building.
• Field Supervisor - complete supervision of personnel for a group of accounts.

Now that you know a little about us, we want you to know what is expected of our employees:

• Good Attendance.  Other than family emergency, vacation, or illness (must provide a doctor's note), we do not tolerate absenteeism.
• Promptness.  We expect employees to report to work and leave work at the assigned time.
• Term of Employment.  Unless you can commit yourself for at least 6 (six) months, please do not apply.
• Commitment to Excellence.  Cleaning work is not hard or strenuous, but we ask that you be exacting in your work.  Our customers expect professional services and you will be the ServiceMaster PBM professional.
• PLEASE BE ADVISED - YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PASS A TEST FOR ILLEGAL DRUGS.
